The Show Goes On

It’s been an interesting January, especially for the UFC.

With news of the recent departure of Francis Ngannou from the UFC, Brandon Moreno’s title win, and Slap Leagues’ bad ratings, the hits keep on coming for the UFC (in more ways than one) but somehow they keep moving ahead.

I’ve written about how the UFC is not MMA enough on here, but their reach is unlike any other in the sport. No matter how many champions are crowned in the UFC or how viral one fighter becomes, the only face of the promotion is Dana White. I’m not going to get into how he, the UFC, and parent company, Endeavor are pretty much just ignoring his actions on New Year’s Eve because it’s been written about enough.

Instead, since they’re moving forward I’m going to as well and see if anyone else is noticing their ups and downs from this month. First, UFC 283…
