This week the Association of Boxing and Combative Sports (ABC)decided to come at Colorado over their allowance of the Global MMA ruleset that ONE Championship uses. You can see the breakdown of the rules they use here on their website, but the main thing is knees to the head of a grounded opponent.
Erik Magraken who runs the Combat Sports Law blog sent out a post that the ABC is pushing Colorado to roll back their approval with a laundry list of reasons why they feel they should not allow it. You can see the letter posted on Magraken’s blog here.
