Bellator 273 Parlay Picks

I know it’s cliché and I know it’s sort of a degenerate move but I like the dogs on the prelims of Bellator 273. By that, I mean the underdogs because one is a staple in the promotion who always brings it in Saad Awad, the other a former champion in Darrion Caldwell, and last but not least Ben Parrish AKA “Big Tuna” who has been picking up steam with Bellator since he got his first-round KO at Bellator 266. Let me explain why I like these underdogs.

Saad Awad 24–13 (1) +180

Awad got himself back in the win column when he got a first round TKO over Nate Andrews at Bellator 259. 11 of his 24 wins come by way of knock out/technical knock out, so that’s what I’m expecting against his opponent, Chris Gonzalez who is 6–1. His last string of losses were against the likes of former champions and top ranked opponents including a short notice bout against Paul Daley, so the losses were not due to anything negative on Awad’s part. He’s also moved and changed training camps and the last win seems to show signs of fresh air in the Bellator vet’s lungs, so I see a win here.
