The following is my post from MyMMANews about Michael “Venom” Page talking about his future in the UFC if he gets past Kevin Holland this weekend. Page was criticized a lot during his time in Bellator but he still had a following and some viral moments. The UFC knows star power when they see it and Page’s following in the UK is likely one of the reasons they signed him. I could see him challenging for the welterweight title sooner than later.

But What About Belal Muhammad?

This is a sound question.

Muhammad should be challenging for the title next based on the UFC rankings but I think by now we know popularity matters more to the UFC than their ranking system. If Page wins this weekend, he may get what he wants. Read the post below to see what’s possible for Page if he starts a UFC win-streak.

Michael Page will make his UFC debut against Kevin Holland at UFC 299 this weekend. Page, a highly experienced kickboxer who made waves in Bellator MMA’s welterweight division where he went 16–2 (21–2 overall), knows doing well at 299 against Holland could put him on the fast track to a title shot.
