Karate Combat: Evolution Set for Later This Month at a Secret Location

Below is my latest for Sherdog on Karate Combat.

When they were coming out, as a former karate student I was interested in and watched their first event. I liked it and the ruleset is definitely something fans have agreed, is probably the best one for modern karate competition. Competitors in the organization also feel this is probably the truest form of competitive karate.

My coverage for them has kept me invited to all their events which are invite-only, and I keep in touch with the folks that work or have worked for them. I’m sure the location won’t be secret for long since VIP types like putting stuff on social media.

Karate Combat returns later this month with Karate Combat: Evolution on Sept. 21 airing on Karate.com and UFC Fight Pass.

The promotion will keep with the video game format including the technology used to track the fighter’s biometrics with the HUD display for fans to see on Karate.com.
