Cris Lencioni “Won a One-legged Ass Kickin’ Contest” at Bellator 239
This is one of the stories that came from a heavy weekend of combat sports, that had most folks focus on the rematch between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. Cris Lencioni is a young featherweight that will likely become well known in the sport as he plans on sticking around for a long time. I interviewed him for Sherdog, and as I have said before they usually heavily edit my work and cut it down.

Cris Lencioni fought the last fight on his Bellator contract at Bellator 239 and won by split decision. His win over a very tough Salim Mukhidinov might have gone under the radar since the bout occurred as a post-lim but it was probably the toughest fight he had to date. Why? Because Lencioni fought with a broken leg.
